OUR PASSION FOR MAKING A DIFFERENCE
Making a positive difference underpins the VS Group ethos. Not only do we strive to make the charity organisations that we work with significant savings, freeing up money to refocus back towards the good work that they do, we also regularly fundraise, donate and volunteer for good causes.
Not only do we strive to make the charity organisations that we work with significant savings, freeing up money to refocus back towards the good work that they do, we also regularly fundraise, donate and volunteer for good cases.
The collective passion of the VS Group team for making a difference extends far beyond the professional commitments of our staff, who are proactive with their charitable contributions. Our staff regularly take time out of their working schedules to utilise their expertise on a voluntary basis to help charities optimise their running operations, in addition to help out with fundraising and spreading awareness.
The VS Group Team is always looking for new ways that we can participate and contribute to good causes, if you have any ideas please email us at : [email protected]
Last year, VS Group hosted a Coffee Morning Bake Sales to raise money and awareness for Macmillan, at our Manchester offices. The whole team donned their Macmillan aprons and got involved with selling cakes and fundraising for the good cause.
Each and every month, VS Group donates £250 to our selected Charity of the Month and we also regularly donate mobile phone handsets to charities to help them with their communications, as a way of thanking charities for the amazing work that they.
Some of our previous charities of the month include Citizens Advice St Helens, Swan women’s Centre, Forever Manchester, Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice and the We Love Manchester Charity. Stay up to date with our latest Charity of the Month on our website.
VS Group is proud to be a partner of charity, Forever Manchester, which supports thousands of community projects in Greater Manchester.
VS Group has worked with Bluebell Wood Children’s Hospice for a number of years and so VS Group wanted to thank the Sheffield-based charity for its loyalty and recognising the amazing work that it does for families, supporting children with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions.
VS Group awarded Bluebell Wood with a grant of £8,000 to cover the cost of its calls from January 2017 through until July 2018. Read more here.
last year we donated 1,000 advent calendars to Wood Street Mission to ensure that kids in the community who otherwise wouldn’t get the opportunity to have one did not miss out during the festive season.
